Taxes

Currently, the United States (US) has a progressive tax system which is based on the fundamental principle of “Earn High, Pay High” whereby if you earn high, you will have to pay higher taxes, with the objective of allowing someone with lower income to pay lower taxes than their higher-income earning counterparts.
